Spring Blooms at the Fort

Spring in the Venetian lagoon is about to get a lot more colorful. On Sunday, April 19th, the historic Forte Marghera will transform into a vibrant botanical paradise for the 3rd edition of Forte in Fiore. Following the certified success of 2025, which welcomed over 15,000 guests, this year’s event returns with a grander vision, featuring over 100 exhibitors ranging from nursery gardening and artisanal crafts to local gastronomy. Starting from 9 AM to 7 PM, visitors can enjoy 12 hours of entertainment with free admission. For those arriving by car, free parking is conveniently available on via Forte Marghera and via Torino.

Forte in Fiore is far more than a simple flower market; it is a community festival designed to engage all the senses. This year program is packed with specialized activities:

• Nature & Green Skills: Explore seasonal plants and garden furniture. Don't miss the acrobatic pruning demonstrations by Non Solo Verde or the expert workshops on grafting and olive oil tasting at the Vivaio Cecchi stand.
• The Art of Flowers: Join SlowFlower for intimate talks and a mesmerizing live Floral Jam Session in the East Ring.
• Equestrian Heritage: Experience the History of California Vaquero Riding with Reborn Ranch, featuring equestrian shows and the Saddle Baptism for children.
• Taste the Territory: Visit the Viale dei Sapori for conscious shopping workshops or participate in Slow Food tastings, featuring lagoon honey and local cheeses.

The fort will be alive with energy all day long. Every 30 minutes, itinerant street performers and circus artists will weave through the paths. Children and adults can immerse themselves in the Baraccone dei Fenomeni game path or enjoy a dedicated Magic Show by SteFunShow during the day.
