On January 27 at 9.00 am at the door of the Hotel Ala was held the ceremony relating to the laying of a stumbling block in memory of Fanny Finzi, One of our fellow Jewish citizens who was deported and killed in Auschwitz and whose last home was right at  2494 of the Sestiere S. Marco, today Hotel Ala.

This initiative is part of the commemorations for the Day of Remembrance that is celebrated on January 27 each year in memory of the victims of the Nazi and Fascist persecutions.
